






| | Old Fashion Bread Puddin 2 c Sweet milk 2 tsp Cinnamon ¼ c Butter ¼ tsp Salt 2 Eggs 8 Slices of stale bread ½ c Sugar ½ c Raisins 1/3 c crushed walnuts, optional
Dice bread into small cubes. Beat eggs and salt together. Scald milk and butter in a boiling pan. Add bread cubes, sugar, cinnamon and eggs. Stir until bread is soaked. Stir in raisins and pour mixture into casserole bowl. Place in a Dutch oven on a trivet. Bake at 350 approx. 35 minutes.
