This is a suggested packing list – it is up to the Patrol to ensure that they bring everything needed for each specific camping trip.  Each Patrol needs to ensure that the appropriate quantities of supplies are taken according to the length of the camping trip.  This packing list includes both hot and cold weather items.  Each Patrol must choose the equipment appropriate to the weather.

 

  • Dining Fly (10X10) with poles/pegs/and guy lines
  • Patrol Flag on Staff
  • Axe
  • Saw
  • Spade
  • Repair kit containing:
    • Mill File 8-inches (for sharpening axe)
    • Sharpening stone
    • Thin wire
    • Twine or Nylon line (1/4 three strand or double-braid)
  • Sewing Kit Containing:
    • Thread (various colors)
    • Needles
    • Safety Pins
  • First Aide Kit
  • Toilet Paper (In Plastic bag)
  • Lantern
  • Propane Bottle
  • Propane Bottle Tree w/ Hoses
  • Cooking Kit Containing:
    • Propane Stove
    • Pots (4)
    • Frying Pans (2)
    • Serving Plates (as required for patrol size)
    • Dutch Oven
  • Chef's Kit Containing:
    • Carving Knife
    • Spoon (Large)
    • Fork (Large)
    • Ladle
    • Spatula
    • Potato Peeler
    • Can Opener
    • Hot Pot Tongs
  • Water Container, 5 gallon
  • Plastic Wash Basin
  • Plastic Bags (various sizes)
  • Sugar container
  • Salt/Pepper
  • Roll of Aluminum Foil
  • Matches in water-proof container
  • Fire Starters
  • Cleaning Materials:
    • Scouring Pads
    • Paper Towels (In Plastic bag)
    • Liquid Soap
    • Heavy Duty Trash Bags
